By combining expected sales forecasts with real-time inventory data, the module helps companies plan procurement, avoid shortages, and ensure timely product availability.


Purpose

  • Transform sales forecasts into actionable supply requirements.

Key Features

1. Expected Sales

  • Record and classify forecasts as Rolling, Committed, or Annual.
  • Define planning periods by fiscal year, start and end dates, and months.
  • Capture product-level expected quantities through the Capacity Plan table.

2. Expected Sales Forecast Report

  • Consolidates sales data into weekly, monthly, and annual views.
  • Prioritizes committed values, then rolling, then annual forecasts.
  • Includes filters for Fiscal Year, Start Date, and End Date.

3. Adjusting Stock Projected Qty Report

  • Calculates future stock levels using available, ordered, and reserved quantities.
  • Compares actual safety stock with forecasted demand to identify shortages.
  • Provides direct action by allowing Material Requests to be created with one click.
